Two buyers, one supply. Formulators and contract manufacturers order bulk extract by the kilogram: single-species lion's mane, reishi, cordyceps, chaga, and turkey tail, or a blend built to a target beta-glucan, shipped with its Certificate of Analysis for incoming QC. Brands order finished goods: capsules, powders, gummies, coffee, tinctures, and stick-packs, private-labeled from a 500-unit MOQ. The extract is identical either way, so a formulator can validate a bulk lot and move to finished production without requalifying the input.
Wholesale is a paperwork business as much as a product one. Every shipment, bulk or finished, carries a third-party Certificate of Analysis for its batch: beta-glucan and alpha-glucan by the Megazyme assay, heavy metals, microbials, and species identity.
